Everyone’s skin is different and reacts differently to certain products. This is why we are giving you 4 skin hacks that are gentle enough for all types of skin. Try incorporating these hacks into your everyday skincare routine and watch your skin become healthier.

  1. Cleanse with Oil. Cleansing with oil is not commonly used because many are afraid to put oil on their faces. They fear it might make their skin oily. However, oil cleansers actually dissolve sebum, sweat, and make up. It also dissolves any dead skin in a gentle manner.
  2. Serum, serum, serum! Despite if you have oily skin or not, our skin is always in need for extra hydration. Serums are great because they go deep and hydrate the skin. While creams and lotions are not able to penetrate the skin as a serum is able to. You can either switch out your lotion for a serum and add on the serum before applying lotion.
  3. Acids. Acids are great because they exfoliate the skin and tighten pores. Glycolic acid is a good option for reducing fine lines and wrinkles. Salicylic acid is a good option for acne prone skin as it fights bacteria.
  4. Clay Masks. Clay masks are a great way to detox your skin that is not harsh. Clay on its own has powerful detoxifying properties. This makes it a great option for those with acne prone skin. However, clay masks can also be hydrating when made with oils. This allows the clay to detox your skin while still keeping hydrated.
